Dreieins Innovative Pädagogik gGmbH is a recognized provider of child and youth welfare services that has stood for a distinctive, creative, and achievement-oriented approach to education for over 20 years. Based on our unique educational concept, we educate and care for approximately 900 children with a team of 250 educators in daycare centers and primary schools in Berlin and Aachen. In autumn 2020, we opened our bilingual daycare center (German/English) in a newly constructed building at the Berlin-Kaulsdorf education campus, which also includes another dreieins daycare center, a primary school, and the Bildungszentrum Plus. Our international team of educators shapes the everyday daycare experience in both German and English and cares for up to 160 children.

For this position, we are looking for a

State-Certified Early Childhood Educator (m/f/d)

Welche Aufgaben erwarten Sie:

  • Holistic support and development of children in the creative, cognitive, emotional, and motor areas
  • Preparation and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities and projects based on the dreieins creativity-focused educational approach and the Berlin Education Program
  • Preparation, follow-up, and conducting of parent-teacher meetings
  • Supporting children during the settling-in period, observing their development, maintaining language development journals, and preparing developmental reports using the PC-based GABIP program
  • Participation in team meetings, the annual dreieins professional development days, and supervision sessions

Was bringen Sie mit:

  • You have completed training as a state-certified early childhood educator or have successfully completed a degree in education, social work, or a related field, or hold an equivalent qualification or formal recognition of equivalency as a career changer
  • You have some initial professional experience in a daycare setting
  • You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy taking on new challenges
  • You are confident in handling challenging situations and remain resilient under stress
  • You identify with the principles of creativity-focused education
  • You are committed to continuous professional development and further training
  • You have good written and spoken English skills and are confident communicating in English
